2023 Presidency: Nigeria today replaying the Rivers scenario of insecurity in 2008; CRA, a vessel like no other, needed to re-enact the Rivers magic, says RATAN

A political support group styled as “Rotimi Amaechi Transformation Agenda of Nigeria, RATAN,” is unrelenting in its call on Nigeria’s Transportation Minister, Chief Rotimi Amaechi, to join the race for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Director General of the Group, Hon. Tim Oshiotse said Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CRA, is the people’s candidate like no other, is a great asset to APC and Nigeria, and is a man who shoots-to-target.  Oshiotse made the call against the background of the group’s similar message to Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CRA, published on Lamprace.

In the message last Sunday, the group canvased that CRA is the “man for the Job.” Oshiotse stated that the group derives their confidence in the bold steps which CRA had taken towards quelling insecurity as governor of Rivers State.

Prior to Amaechi’s assumption of office as governor in 2007, Rivers State was in a state of anarchy, as bombings and gunshot attacks had become a regular feature, under the reign of MEND, the Niger Delta militant group.

“The Rivers scenario of 2007 is comparable to the state of insecurity in Nigeria today, and it is our considered view that CRA brings both the presence and the stature to neutralize insecurity in Nigeria,” Oshiotse volunteered.

The group said “they would not stop mounting pressures until Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CRA, yields to this call to higher duty to our motherland.”
