Yolande Makolo, Rwanda’s government spokesperson, said in a statement the government would not comment on an “unpublished and unvalidated report.” She said an earlier report by the experts’ group in June “contained none of these false allegations.”
Reacting to the anti-UN protests, Khassim Diagne, a Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, said in a series of tweets that the MONUSCO never said that it was the solution to the DRC's security crises.

In his keynote remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Police Command, Mr. Ayuba Elkana said the training of the Community Protection Guards was part of series of measures taken by Governor Bello Matawalle in order save the State from all forms of crimes.
