Few days after his rumoured meeting with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in London, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, and Labour Party (LP) flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, are said to be meeting in London.
According to The Nation, other Governors at the meeting include Samuel Ortom of Benue; Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
Details of the meeting cannot be ascertained as at press time, but observers believe it may not be unconnected with the 2023 general elections.
The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has been in a war of words with the camp of the flagbearer of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, following the outcome of the party’s primary election, wherein Wike was defeated.
